ArcYear exists because annual leave is finite and UK bank holidays already punch holes in the calendar. Most people still guess which Fridays or Mondays to book. We map those holidays into leave arcs — stretches of off days you can buy with fewer allowance days by using weekends and public holidays as the spine.
Who it is for
Workers in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland who want longer breaks without burning the whole year’s allowance on guesswork. Partners and families planning together are welcome; school-holiday overlap is a later honesty layer, not a fiction we invent today.
How we work
Help comes first. The Leave Maximiser ranks opportunities from bank-holiday data we import on a schedule — not a live feed from somewhere else when you open the page. You customise nation, working week, and allowance; you can share a plan, draft an email, or download a calendar file. No accounts.
Ownership
ArcYear is an independent product published at arcyear.co.uk by Sinthuyan Arulselvam. There is no separate brand shell and no anonymous “team” placeholder — email contact@arcyear.co.uk for corrections, privacy, and ownership questions. We keep clear About, Contact, and policy pages so reviewers and visitors can see who stands behind the tool.
What we will not do
We will not gate the maximiser behind payment. We will not hide how the site is funded.
